It's nearly Spring

The weather here has been pretty crappy but at last the daylight hours are starting to get longer.  Add in a bit of sunshine and I'm desperate to get outside.  Happily the QEII park is very close to home!  So I had my walk and then went home to cut some skirts to celebrate spring... purple Katydid skirts anyone?

Market dates in April ...

Only two markets for Minnie + Ree at Underground Market in Wellington this April.  We will be there on Saturday 12th April and Saturday 26th April 2014.  

We will have NEW stock though!!  Here's a few pics.  The Zebra skirt is in the original single-sided snap wrap style and we have several more new prints.  The brownie one is the new longer length, sarong style (called the Katydid skirt) - still with the snaps of course - and also in some other new prints.

I've been working away on a longer skirt pattern.  After six (!!!) prototypes I've finally got it to what I had in mind.  The first ones will be available at Underground market the week after next - Saturday 8 March.  I'm off to Auckland on Thursday for a few days so won't be at the market this Saturday.  Hopefully we'll also get the new skirts up on the website next week as well.
